Wednesday, August 27th

What a busy few days with Ricky Bobby, Saturday we hauled to a couple of small shows to get him used to crowds and loud speakers. We even ran the barrel pattern a few times. Sunday was the fundraiser and we had a blast. Ricky Bobby showed off all day. Monday was learning session with another local trainer who helped us with lead changes and spins. And then today Ricky Bobby got a new pair of shoes. He stood great for the farrier. Then we Loaded up and headed to Canon to chase some steers. I think he likes to chase things. He is gonna make a heck of a working horse. He gives everything he has at whatever task I ask of him. That is what's been happening in Ricky Bobby's world.

Wednesday, September 3rd

Well the past week and a half Ricky Bobby and myself have been working on fine tuning all our important maneuvers and working on a finals performance. Not only has Ricky Bobby been my favorite horse to ride, several other people are falling in love with him as well. Ricky Bobby is proving to be a really safe and dependable horse for anyone to ride. We will continue to work on the basics and anyone who wants to see Ricky Bobby before we head to Texas better get over here. There is only 12 days before we leave.

Friday, September 5th

Tonight we headed back out to Josh Spencers place to try a little roping. Ricky Bobby did great. Josh jumped on him and went to roping on him like he was a pro. I even got a chance to try(I say that cuz I have never roped before) anyway I caught a couple of times and even drug the calf around a bit. What a fun evening it was.

Thank You!

Hi everybody,

This is Ricky Bobby. Heath is busy getting ready for our trip to Fort Worth, so I thought I would send everbody a big thank you. You guys really helped us out. weather it was money for feed, help with training aspects, music mixing, making stick horses and ribbons, cooking hot dogs, or just allowing us to come over and ride at your place, it all made me a happy horse and let Heath just worry about training and not all the other stuff. Even though Heath says we are just going to have fun at the competition, I am ready to compete and show these other mustangs what a little guy with a big heart can do. Wish us luck and again thank you guys for all you have done for me and Heath.

Sincerely,
Ricky Bobby
