Sunday, June 8th

Teter toter day. Well we finally got the bridge built. So I thought lets just see how hard it is going to be to train "Buddy" to cross it. 1 second later he walked across it. I am not even sure I asked him to. He just did it. Lets make it tougher I say. We put a log under the bridge. Not only did he not really care that the bridge now moves, he even would shift his body weight on command so that the bridge tipped back and forth. This is too easy.

Saturday, June 14th

Buddy was a little jealous of Ricky Bobby, so I played with him a lot today as well. He now will stand on the pedestal just by pointing at it. We also did it from under saddle. Buddy is a ham. My 2 year old niece came to visit Buddy. He even let her ride him around the arena and jumped the barrels and loped perfect circles with her and did sliding stops and amazing roll backs......... well she did set on his back for a minute.

Sunday, June 15th

Buddy has finally befriended the new guy. And I rode Buddy and worked on his tricks. pretty laid back day for him.

Saturday, June 21st

I have been busy busy busy, haven't taken pictures in a long time. Just been riding Ricky Bobby and Buddy everyday. Just working through some things with Buddy and teaching Ricky Bobby some new stuff. Today was bridge day. Ricky Bobby didn't take to it as fast as Buddy but we got it done. I was so tired after word I layed down to take a nap but Ricky Bobby wouldn't let me.

Tuesday, June 24th

Today was a play day for Buddy. George played with him at liberty while me and Ricky Bobby worked on some ground work. George had buddy standing on the pedestal, crossing the bridge, and jumping the barrels. Best of all buddy did it just for the attention.

Wednesday, June 25th

Buddy has an abscess in his hoof so it was all about Ricky Bobby today. He is doing great. After our ride we learned to stand on the pedestal. Buddy got a little jealous and squeezed in between us. He bullied Ricky off the pedestal and got up their himself. What a goofball.

Tuesday, July 8th

Well some of you know Buddy and myself have had some setbacks under saddle lately but things are starting to come around again. I should have more news for you this week.
